Connecting Your GoHighLevel Account

Step-by-step guide to connecting your GHL sub-account to Lead Fusion so our ISA team can start working your leads.

Connecting Your GoHighLevel Account

Before our ISA team can start calling your leads, you'll need to connect your GoHighLevel sub-account to Lead Fusion. This takes about 10 minutes.

What You'll Need

  • Admin access to your GoHighLevel sub-account
  • Your Lead Fusion account credentials (provided by your onboarding rep)

Step 1: Get Your GHL API Key

  1. Log into GoHighLevel and navigate to your sub-account
  2. Go to Settings → Integrations → API Keys
  3. Click Create API Key, give it a name like Lead Fusion ISA
  4. Copy the key — you'll need it in the next step

Keep this key safe. Anyone with this key can access your GHL account data. Only share it with Lead Fusion through the secure setup form.

Step 2: Add Your API Key to Lead Fusion

  1. Log into your Lead Fusion dashboard at dialer.leadfusion.io
  2. Go to Settings → Sub-Accounts
  3. Click Add Sub-Account
  4. Paste your GHL API key and enter your sub-account name
  5. Click Save & Test Connection

A green checkmark means you're connected. If you see an error, double-check that the API key was copied in full with no extra spaces.

Step 3: Configure Your Caller ID

Your ISA agents will call leads using a phone number from your GHL account (so leads see a familiar number, not an unknown caller).

  1. In GoHighLevel, go to Settings → Phone Numbers
  2. Confirm you have at least one active number
  3. In Lead Fusion Settings, select that number as your Caller ID

Note: The number must be verified in Twilio via your GHL account. If you're unsure, contact your GHL support or our team.

Step 4: Set Up Your Webhook

This allows GHL to send new leads to Lead Fusion automatically.

  1. In GoHighLevel, open your workflow for new leads
  2. Add a Webhook action
  3. Set the URL to: https://webhooks.leadfusion.io/a/YOUR-ACCOUNT-ID/tasks/new-lead (Your account ID was provided in your welcome email)
  4. Save the workflow

You're All Set

Once connected, new leads will start flowing into the Lead Fusion dialer queue automatically. Our ISA team will begin calling based on your agreed service hours.
